The pictures on the right will, I hope, give you a flavour of the village. These can be seen again with others on the "Tour" page later in the site.
Pavenham is an attractive village with many stone buildings resting beside the River Ouse in Bedfordshire. The village has delightful riverside walks where ducks and swans linger, or why not enjoy the amazing Jacobean carvings at the church of St Peter, with an impressive tower and five bells. Pavenham Golf Course has a challenging 18 holes, set in idyllic parkland with many water features.
The village lies some 6 miles NNW of the County Town of Bedford, and is 2 miles from Oakley along the River Ouse.
The current population is circa 600.
